Ready to paddle?  We'll make it easy for you! Whether you are a first-time paddler or more experienced, give us a call to arrange your expedition.  Our kayaks are extremely user-friendly even for beginners, and there's no better way to experience the calm waters of the Charlotte/Rock Hill area!

We provide floats on the Catawba River as it travels along the Canoe & Kayak Trail from the Lake Wylie Dam to Fort Lawn, SC.   If you aren't sure you're ready for a river trip, Lake Wylie is a good place to start.  Fishing is great on both river and lake, and we have kayaks specially designed for fishing floats. HOW DOES THIS WORK? 

  • We post what trip we are doing at the top of this page.  Trips are self-guided!
  • Call or email to make a reservation for a scheduled trip.
  • We meet you at the take-out location and transport you to the launch site, get you outfitted and on the water, and meet you at the end of your float.
  • If you have a large group and prefer a different section of the river, let us know ASAP so we can schedule it.
  • If you prefer to come get boats and do your own trip/shuttle/travel we can arrange for that!

Reservations are required, we typically book quickly so please call as soon as you know when you want to float. 

We have  trips that range in length from 1.5 hours to an entire day on the river,  with trips suited for both beginners and more experienced paddlers.    Don't want to join a group? We can arrange rentals for you to transport if you have a suitable vehicle for transporting.

Rentals include shuttle service (if needed) and PFD's.  Kayaks and canoes are also available for multi-day rentals.  Already have your kayak?  We can provide shuttle service if you want to tag along with a scheduled trip.

Need an activity for your church group, business retreat or family reunion?  Paddling is a great activity for individuals, families, or groups.  We specialize in the waters of the Catawba River, with sections that are suitable for any experience level.
