Regular schedule:
  • Dam to River Park on Saturdays (8:30 am to beat the heat)                              
  • Landsford Canal State Park area trips on Sundays, 1:00

Ready to paddle?  We'll make it easy for you! Whether you are a first-time paddler or more experienced, give us a call to arrange your expedition.  Our kayaks are extremely user-friendly even for beginners, and there's no better way to experience the calm waters of the Charlotte/Rock Hill area!

We provide floats on the Catawba River as it travels along the Canoe & Kayak Trail from the Lake Wylie Dam to Fort Lawn, SC.   If you aren't sure you're ready for a river trip, Lake Wylie is a good place to start.  Fishing is great on both river and lake, and we have kayaks specially designed for fishing floats. HOW DOES THIS WORK? 
  •   Check our website for detailed trip information - check calendar and services pages.
  •   Decide how long you want to paddle and when.
  •   Call us, we'll suggest a trip to suit your skills and the members of your group.
  •   We typically group floats at the same time on Saturdays and Sundays, but you are not "stuck" with that group once on the water... it's self-guided and self-paced!
  •   We don't have a location or store at the river- we meet you at the take-out location and transport you to the launch site, get you outfitted and on the water, and meet you at the end of your float.

Reservations are required, we typically book quickly so please call as soon as you know when you want to float. 

We have  trips that range in length from 1.5 hours to an entire day on the river,  with trips suited for both beginners and more experienced paddlers.    Don't want to join a group? We can arrange rentals for you to transport if you have a suitable vehicle for transporting.

Rentals include shuttle service (if needed) and PFD's.  Kayaks and canoes are also available for multi-day rentals.  Already have your kayak?  We can provide shuttle service if you want to tag along with a scheduled trip.
