RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED
Ready to paddle? We'll make it easy for you!
Whether you are a first-time paddler or more experienced, give us a call to arrange your trip. Our kayaks (Wilderness Pamlicos) and canoes are extremely user-friendly even for beginners, and there's no better way to experience the calm waters of the Charlotte/Rock Hill area!
Want to float closer to the water? Check our Tubing Page...tubing is a fun way to spend the day.
We provide floats on the Catawba River as it travels along the Canoe & Kayak Trail from the Lake Wylie Dam to Fort Lawn, SC. We are the longest-operating kayak/canoe/tubing resource on the Catawba River, with decades of experience in the sport, along with expert knowledge of the Catawba River.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
- Check the Schedule page to see when trips are scheduled.
- Read our Trip Page to see descriptions of available trips. Trips are self-guided!
- Call or email to make a reservation for a scheduled trip.
- If you prefer to come get boats and do your own trip/shuttle/travel we can arrange for that!
Trips on the Catawba River range in length from 1.5 hours to an entire day on the river, with trips suited for both beginners and more experienced paddlers. Don't want to go on our scheduled times or want to stay longer? We can arrange rentals for you to DIY if you have a suitable vehicle for transporting.
Rentals include gear and PFD's. Kayaks and canoes are also available for multi-day rentals. Already have your kayak or canoe? We can provide shuttle service if you want to tag along with a scheduled trip.
Need an activity for your church group, business retreat or family reunion? Paddling or tubing are great activities for individuals, families, or groups.
